As part of a major construction works to a private residential property the client requested a perimeter detection system to be installed to detect attempted penetration attacks through the walls of the property.
Working with the clients Security System Integrator, Harper Chalice were able to offer a suitable solution that could be installed during the construction phase of the project.
To achieve maximum discretion whilst ensuring the highest levels of intruder detection, The Harper Chalice WallSecure PIDS was selected for the project.
The system can be installed either within a reinforced cavity wall or to the inside or outside face of a wall and is designed to detect a penetration attack. The system can be installed as a stand-alone system or, as in this case, can be integrated into the household alarm system.
Close liaison with the construction team was critical in ensuring that the system was installed within the reinforced cavity wall.
Careful planning & co-ordination was required to install the key system elements at the correct point in construction in order to ensure no delays to the construction team. The equipment was tested at each stage of installation as access after completion of the building works would be impossible.
